WRITER, PRODUCER, Editor
A native New Yorker, born in Harlem Hospital and raised in the Bronx, Craig T. Williams is a writer/producer/editor at Red Wall Productions, a film production company he founded with his wife and partner, Rosalyn Coleman Williams. They honed their skills by writing, producing, and directing a string of quirky, comedic, romantic short films, and together, they have created over 100 projects.
Craig has empowered artists, assisting writers, actors, and filmmakers to develop their craft through classes, workshops, scholarships, internships, and professional opportunities, providing them with the tools and confidence to create their own work and share their individual stories with the world. In partnership with the Craft Institute, he helped to create a Writer’s Retreat - An in-person 3-day residency in picturesque Martha’s Vineyard, September 2024. The retreat will provided Four (4) Black screenwriters with the resources and tools to workshop their Feature Script or TV Pilot in a safe, supportive environment. FREE to the writers who were chosen. Our generous mentors included Writer/Director/Producer Christine Swanson and Showrunner/Executive Producer Erica Shelton Kodish.
An indie filmmaker for more than 20 years, his journey landed him on the writing staff on the hit TV show "TERROR LAKE DRIVE" on ALLBLK, an AMC Streamer. Craig was part of the prestigious WarnerMedia Discovery Access Writers Program (formerly the HBO All Access Writers Program), where he was chosen as one of 20 writers from over four thousand applicants.
His feature film screenplay “Black Boys Don't Sew” was just part of the New York Stage and Film Filmmaker’s Workshop and has Academy Award Winner and newly crowned EGOT Viola Davis and her husband Julius Tennon attached as Executive Producers.
Craig has many scripts in various stages of development, including the award-winning one-hour TV pilot “How Ya Like Me Now,” about the ‘80s rap rivalry between Kool Moe Dee and LL Cool J. “Christmas In The Dreamhouse,” a Movie Musical. A one-hour procedural he wrote called "The Connectors," about two women born to the same father on the same day who meet as adults and form an agency that reconnects lost family members, was inspired by his Mother finding her long-lost sister. Craig wrote and produced the feature film "Game Nite," which premiered at the 2024 Pan African Film Festival and is headed for distribution.
Craig is looking forward to his wife Rosalyn making her feature film directorial debut with “Pulpit Playaz,” a comedy about two ex-cons who start a church. Written by Titus Peoples and Yasha Jackson, Craig will produce.
